Kenya Power and Lighting Ends the Week as the Top Loser of the Day

Top Losers

Kenya Power and Lighting was the top loser of the day with 4.03 percent at the price of 5.95 shillings per share followed by National Bank who lost 3.42 percent at the price of 5.65 shillings per share.

HF Group, Flame Tree Group, and Kenya Electricity Generating Company lost 2.96, 2.70 and 2.36 percent at the price of 8.20, 3.60 and 6.20 shillings per share respectively.

Top Gainers

The top gainer of the day was Kapchorua Tea Kenya with 9.87 percent at the price of 83.50 shillings per share followed by Total Kenya with 7.44 percent at the price of 32.50 shillings per share.

Eveready East Africa, Mumias Sugar Company, and Williamson Tea Kenya gained 7.41, 7.14 and 6.51 percent at the price of 1.45, 0.75 and 180.00 shillings per share respectively.

Top Movers

The top movers’ table was led by Safaricom PLC who sold 5.93 million shares followed by Sasini Tea and Coffee who sold 3.92 million shares.

Kenya Electricity Generating Company, WPP ScanGroup, and Mumias Sugar sold 2.54, 2.27 and 1.41 million shares respectively.
