Kenyan Female Teenager Found Murdered in Germany

Britney, a 15-year-old Kenyan teenager who has been living in Germany with her family for the last two and a half years has been found dead.

Britney went missing on 15th October 2019 in Drewitz in Germany after she reportedly had a fight with her mother.

Britney is reported to have left their home in Drewitz in Potsdam in a huff after falling into conflict with her mother and was reported to have visited people acquaintance to her never to return home.

A three day emotionally overwhelming search for Britney did not bear any fruits creating anxiety in family and friends and attracting the social media platforms.

It is only when the search was dying out that the body of the 15-year-old Britney was found at the same spot a coast guard had searched for two days.

The body of Britney was recovered at the river banks of River Havel on 22nd October 2019 by a man who had gone fishing, exactly a week since she went missing.

It is at the same spot where Britney’s body was found that her personal belongings had been recovered just a day after her disappearance.

Britney’s body was found still dressed in the blue jeans and white T-shirt she wore when she went missing with her cell phone still with her.

According to security officers, Britney had left home at 1 pm on the 15th of October and had been in an argument with her mother on 14th October.

Britney is said to have been online at 1:50 pm.

Potsdam’s Mayor, Mike Schubert, responded with great sadness to the news of Britney’s death.

“All of us in Potsdam are dismayed by the death of the young student. It is awful and sad when a young girl in our midst dies unexpectedly, “Schubert said adding that their hope in finding Britney alive had been crushed.

“We pass our condolences to and mourn with her mom, her family and her friends,” Schubert added.
Britney moved to Germany from Kenya with her mother and her younger brother and has been living there for the last two and a half years where the children enrolled Gesamtschule school in Potsdam, Germany.
