Here Are The Things Likely To Kill Covid-19 According To US Researchers

Some US researchers have come up with different ideas which they claim could kill the Coronavirus that has been ravaging the earth for months.

The US researchers who presented their findings during a White House briefing argued that they have come up with ways to weaken the coronavirus and ensure it is contained.

Their arguments involved using ultraviolet lights, high temperatures, bleach, and isopropyl alcohol which they claimed could either kill or weaken the virus if used effectively.

Natural sunlight and heat are said to weaken the virus to a certain level which means the virus is still active but cannot cause severe illness or damage to the infected person.

Bleach, according to the researchers, could kill the virus within five minutes if exposed to saliva or the respiratory fluids. Isopropyl alcohol is however said to kill the virus in just a matter of seconds.

However, the findings are still in the trial stage and cautious measures have to be put in place to ensure the results are not hazardous.

Speaking to the researchers, President Donald Trump argued that the human body is very delicate when exposed to ultraviolet rays or excess heat and thus the study should be considered first before taking the next step.

“So, supposing we hit the body with a tremendous – whether it’s ultraviolet or just very powerful light,” the president said, turning to Dr. Deborah Birx, the White House coronavirus response coordinator, “and I think you said that hasn’t been checked but you’re going to test it.”

“And then I said, suppose you brought the light inside of the body, which you can do either through the skin or in some other way. And I think you said you’re going to test that too. Sounds interesting,” President Trump told the researchers.

President Trump instead suggested a different method of dealing with the Coronavirus where he said patients should be injected with disinfectants.

His suggestion was met with critics with some saying “the notion of injecting or ingesting any type of cleansing product into the body is irresponsible and it’s dangerous.”

Dr. Vin Gupta said the method was only utilized by people who wanted to kill themselves.
