Kenya has registered 7 new cases of Coronavirus with the total number rising to 179 with the Ministry of Health telling Kenyans to to prepare for the worst.

The new number comes after 14 new cases were announced on Tuesday. The number on Wednesday was 50 percent lower that what was registered on Tuesday.

Some of Kenyans who had been released from quarantine facilities on Tuesday were traced and returned under some unclear circumstances with sources indicating some might have received wrong tests.

Those in quarantine facilities have complained of congestion, poor facilities with individuals sharing most of the facilities in increasing chances of the spread of Covid-19.

Of the 179 confirmed cases, only 13 are of 60 years and above. More than 40 are young people between the age of 15 and 29.
