Everyone is suffering but has no one to share with. We all pretend to be fine to the world but dying slowly inside.
I call it a masked generation because no one is true. Everyone is suffering but has no one to share with. We all pretend to be fine to the world but dying slowly inside.
We live a life of pretense, a life that is not ours. We think that sharing what we feel is a sign of weakness, and seeking sympathy while in a real sense we are digging our own graves.
We are all happy on social media as we post different statuses. No one wants to post any sad story or the one that will show their miserable lifestyle.
Some ladies take it as a challenge and start dating men who are old enough to be their grandfathers. They really don’t like what they are doing but the fear of being isolated by their friends pushes them. They want to go to big hotels, have good meals, and take pictures to show off to the world as they conceal the pain and bury it deep down their hearts.
People are dying from depression because they are afraid to share their problems. They do not want to be a burden to those who are around them not knowing that ending their lives is the biggest burden they could ever give them.
Parents are should give their children maximum attention and be there for them in all stages of their life. There are some who are ignorant and assume that schools are there to teach them everything. School is where they spend most of their time but cannot teach them everything. They should always try to reach out to them and try to know how they`re coping up with life and their daily activities. Try to be their number one confidant.
A child finding a friend in a parent is the biggest gift that every child prays for. Do not be the parent who only cares about their material needs but also emotional needs. You could find that a child fears a parent to an extent that they have to keep all their worries and problems to themselves or share with their friends who may not have the knowledge about the issue and end up misleading them.
Sometimes try to have a random talk with your friends and colleagues. This makes one be open to you and try to confide some issues in you. Whenever you get a chance to assist a sinking vessel do not hesitate to give your ear because that person has given you total trust.
If they consider it confidential then do not fail them by exposing it to others. Failing them discourages them and fear to do it again as they think that all people are the same and cannot be trusted. This is the main reason why most people have decided to keep all their problems to themselves and die slowly. They fear the rejection and intimidation they could get from colleagues. People have decided to die alone in this cruel world.
