Kenya Is Second Most Beautiful Country In Africa, Sixth In The World

According to the global report conducted by Money.co.uk and titled ‘Natural Beauty Report’, Kenya is the sixth most beautiful country in the world.

The report shows that Kenya achieved a natural beauty score of 6.7 out of the possible 10, while Kenya’s neighboring country Tanzania ranked fourth with a natural beauty score of 6.98.

The ratings were analyzed based on natural features like Volcanoes, Coral reefs, tropical rainforests, and Glaciers.

From the report, Kenya has eight volcanoes, five ultra-prominent mountains, 630 square Kilometers of coral reefs area,411 protected areas, 536 kilometers coastline length, 170,887 square kilometers of tropical rainforest, and 28 glaciers.

Tanzania on the other hand boasts of three volcanoes, 11 ultra-prominent mountains, 3,580 square kilometers of coral reefs area, 836 as the total number of protected areas, 1,424 kilometers coastline length, 387,944 square kilometers of tropical forest area, and 75 glaciers, according to the report.

With a rating of 7.77, Indonesia was found to be the most nice-looking country in the world ahead of New Zealand (7.27), Colombia (7.16), Tanzania (6.98), Mexico (6.96), and Kenya.

First world countries such as France, the United States of America, Japan, and Australia were placed eighth, twelfth, and fourteenth respectively.

The United Kingdom did not feature in the top 50 list.

A recent report by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) also ranked Kenya as the second most innovative country in Africa and 85th in the world.

Tanzania emerged third in the continent and 90th in the world, securing its position in the top 100. Kenya has held the continent’s top performer record for 11 consecutive years. Africa has emerged as the continent with the highest number of innovation outperforming economies.
