Turkey Fashion Brand Giovane Gentile Lands In Kenya With A New Store

Turkish menswear brand Giovane Gentile has expanded its global presence into the Kenyan market with the opening of its new concept store at The Village Market Shopping Mall, Gigiri.
The store is Giovane Gentile’s first in Africa as it seeks to capitalize on the region’s evolving high-end market and Nairobi’s burgeoning reputation as one of the continent’s leading fashion and luxury capitals.
Founded in Istanbul in 2001, Giovane Gentile appeals to modern, confident, and style-conscious individuals by blending quality, fine aesthetics, and high customer expectations that offer comfort and enduring elegance. Their fashion offering revolves around three pillars – Business, Casual, and Trend.
Its business and casual collections are created from fabrics produced by notable Italian fashion houses, including Ermenegildo Zegna, Loro Piana, Cerruti, Vitale Barberis, and Zignone. Garments that are woven from these fabrics make up Giovane Gentile’s Limited Edition line, which features suits and jackets made from premium natural materials such as cashmere, wool, and cotton.
The Limited Edition also includes handcrafted business shoes with each pair distinguished by its own unique serial number.
“Our new store at The Village Market provides our customers with collections and experiences that are comparable to what we offer in other major cities where we have a presence. Our collections are tailor-made to fit young and upscale individuals who take a keen interest in their image, whether they are in the boardroom or at a social event,” said Giovane Gentile, Kenya’s Director Fehime Kafkas.
“We take immense pride in stocking universally recognized Italian fabric brands that are renowned for their unique style, comfort, and masculine energy. These traits are aligned with what the modern male demographic is looking for as they build their own wardrobes and seek to look the part, whatever the occasion may be,” she added.
At the event, the Turkish Ambassador to Kenya, H.E. Subutay Yüksel, lauded Giovane Gentile’s outstanding quality by highlighting that the Giovane Gentile piece he had on was from 15 years ago and had stood the test of time, still being as good as new, a true testament to the quality of the brand.
Also in attendance were Mr.Cemal Şenoğlu, the brand’s owner, Mr.Adnan Merdin, Founder and Managing Director of Dr. Mattress, Mr. Cemal Ulma, Director of Bosphorus Lounge, Mr.Agah Kafkas, former Member of the Turkish Parliament and former Deputy Minister of Health, and Mrs. Seher Erkol Odabas, Turkish Defence Attache.
By embracing the philosophy of affordable luxury, Giovane Gentile clients have the opportunity to wear refined and accessible options in men’s fashion. The brand is also employing technology that positions itself as a pioneering entity that meets the current demands of the global menswear market.
The Village Market outlet is the latest addition to Giovane Gentile’s stable of 65 concept stores spread across the world and 23 concept stores across Turkey. Its main international markets include the United States, Italy, New Zealand, Russia, United Arab Emirates, Germany, South Africa, Ukraine, Iran, and Kazakhstan.
