Go Gaga Experiential Celebrates Innovation and Excellence at the 9th Digital Media Festival

Go Gaga Experiential hosted the 9th edition of The Digital Media Festival and Awards Show 2025, a premier accolade event that recognizes outstanding achievements in Kenya’s vibrant digital landscape. The event, held amidst the lush grounds of The Tamarind Hotel Grounds on Langata Road, gathered top agency teams, creative pioneers, and industry innovators committed to pushing the boundaries of digital excellence.
This year’s festival spotlighted groundbreaking campaigns across diverse categories—including Agency, Content, Publisher, Digital, Youth, and various Special Categories—highlighting the most innovative, impactful, and creative digital initiatives in the country. The evening celebrated both emerging talent and industry veterans shaping the future of digital communication.
Highlight Achievements and Notable Winners
Tandem Network emerged as the evening’s standout agency, securing the prestigious Agency of the Year award alongside four additional honors, including Most Impactful Campaign of the Year for their empowering “Sky Fest” campaign targeting women and girls. Their innovative approach also earned accolades for Media Innovation, Experiential Campaign, and Best Youth-Driven Campaign.
Bharat Tavares of Tandem Network was named Creative Director of the Year, while Robert Kizito received the Copy Writer of the Year, and Kelvin Kaesa was declared the Art Director of the Year accolade. Denis Kajura was recognized as Graphic Designer of the Year, Colin Asiimwe received Marketing Leader of the Year, and Dorothy Kirabo claimed the Strategist of the Year award. GOtv was distinguished as Brand of the Year for their compelling digital presence and engagement.
Other notable winners included Dentsu Creative Kenya, whose “Stitched With Cheer” campaign for Tusker Lager secured the Campaign of the Year award. The Bar Africa was awarded for their innovative Brand Identity Systems and Design for Workables’ Typespace. Nuvita Biscuits’ “Nuvita Presents NoVita” influencer-led campaign also garnered recognition.
Emerging Talent and Youth Innovation
The Youth-Young Creative Awards celebrated Kenya’s rising stars, with Michael Muraya earning the Best Young Copywriter, Allan Kioko as Best Young Content Creator, Neemo Mungai recognized as Best Independent Young Creative, Faith Mwangi crowned Best Young Innovator, and Gichimu Ikuá named Best Young Art Director.
In collaboration with Eskimi, the Eskimi Awards recognized excellence across various digital initiatives: Diageo’s standout creative campaign received the Eskimi Creative Excellence Award; Uber Eats was lauded for the Best Engagement Campaign; and KCB Group triumphed with the Best Performing Traffic Campaign.
Levis Ryan, Digital Marketing Manager – Corporate Marketing Group at Samsung Electronics, expressed pride in supporting industry growth: “We are committed to recognizing and nurturing the talent shaping Kenya’s digital future. These awards highlight the creativity and innovation that drive our industry forward.”
