Moët & Chandon Raises the Celebratory Jeroboam as Formula 1’s Tradition of Victory Continues in 2026

Moët & Chandon, as the Official Champagne of Formula 1®, continues its journey on the sport’s podiums in 2026 at the FORMULA 1® LOUIS VUITTON GRAND PRIX DE MONACO 2026, as part of a prestigious 10-year Global Partnership between Formula 1 and LVMH.
After a memorable return to Formula 1® in 2025, the Maison continues to write history this year, deepening its bond with the pinnacle of motorsport and passionately carrying forward a legacy forged in excellence and emotion. Victory is never achieved alone: it is a collective moment, shared with teams and fans alike, as Kimi Antonelli (Youngest winner of the Formula 1 Grand Prix de Monaco), Lewis Hamilton, and Isack Hadjar claim victory in this race.
Moët & Chandon, honored by its partnership with Formula 1® and the Automobile Club
de Monaco, benefits from exceptional, high-impact visibility at one of the circuit’s most iconic locations: the Stade Nautique Rainier III, in the heart of Port Hercule. A spectacular and instantly recognisable setting, at the peak of race intensity, where all eyes and all cameras converge.
A LEGACY OF CELEBRATION
Moët & Chandon’s connection to Formula 1® is legendary. It began in 1950 at the
Reims Grand PrixTM, when Frédéric Chandon de Briailles spontaneously offered a bottle to the race winner. From that single act, a timeless ritual emerged, the Celebratory Jeroboam, a symbol of victory, collective emotion, and enduring celebration, honoring champions past and present.
Deep within the Maison’s historic cellars in Épernay, vaults safeguard a rare and precious reserve of Jeroboams, each one destined for Formula 1. There, in the stillness of time and tradition, these exceptional bottles await their moment of triumph. Once at their destination on the Grand PrixTM circuit, the Jeroboams are signed by the race winners and shared with the winning teams on the podium, igniting an explosion of joy and celebration. Each bottle carries decades of history, generations of champions’ signatures, and the silent testimony of countless victories, unforgettable achievements, and the electric thrill of champions celebrated together.
Beyond the iconic bottle and the ritual, it crowns, Moët & Chandon and Formula 1® share a profound kinship: both are built on precision, excellence, and human mastery. The exacting gestures of a driver mirror the careful craft of champagne-making, while the tireless dedication of pit crews reflects the expertise of cellar masters. Both worlds are driven by passion, emotion, and the joy of shared triumphs. Every victory, every bottle, every lifted toast echoes this unwavering commitment to excellence and human skill.
“As we enter our second season back in Formula 1®, our partnership moves beyond a return to become a lasting presence. United by the same pursuit of precision and excellence.
Moët & Chandon and Formula 1 celebrate the craftsmanship, teamwork, and passion that define both our worlds. Together, we continue to elevate the podium into a moment of shared victory — honoring the collective spirit behind every achievement.” Sibylle Scherer,
President & CEO of Moët & Chandon
THE FORMULA 1® CELEBRATION JOURNEY
In 2026, Moët & Chandon continues to stand alongside drivers and teams through every stage of the post-race ritual, transforming victory into a profound emotion and a shared memory. It all begins in Parc Fermé after the race, where the spotlight falls on the teams who work tirelessly behind the scenes, their meticulous precision pushing the very limits of performance. Then, as a tribute to their triumph, the winning driver signs the
Celebratory Jeroboam before heading into the Cooldown Room, where the drivers relive the Grand PrixTM and feel the full impact of their achievement. The Corridor then serves as the pathway guiding champions toward the podium. As they walk through this passage, every step is charged with mounting anticipation and pride, echoing the achievements of legends.
Finally, the ultimate moment: the pinnacle of emotion – the podium. The noise is deafening, the energy electrifying. With excitement at its peak, the long-awaited ritual begins.
Moët & Chandon Jeroboams are raised, the three drivers celebrate together, and the roar of the crowd seals their collective triumph. Every moment is a reminder that victory is better when shared.
