Don Julio Sends Its Global Ambassador to Kenya to Offer Mentorship Sessions

By Soko Directory Team / February 2, 2018

The increase in the number of Kenyans with higher disposable incomes, global exposure, and refined tastes has fuelled demand for premium alcoholic brands such as Don Julio according to a report by global market intelligence firm, Euromonitor International.

With this in mind, Don Julio has sought to enhance the consumer experience by offering mentorship sessions with the first ‘Don’ for Don Julio Tequila, Deano Moncrieffe.

The Global Brand Ambassador, who will be in the country from 28th January to 4th February 2018, will train and mentor bartenders, mixologists, and connoisseurs on the authentic heritage of tequila, the ultra-premium variants, and the ultimate Don Julio experience.

The highlight of his trip will be at the annual Pan-African arts & cultural festival; Africa Nouveau, which will be held on 3rd February 2018 at Ngong Racecourse waterfront. The new Don Julio Mobile bar will be the experience to look out for.

“We have a growing family and community of Tequila lovers and we are thrilled with the opportunity to provide a richer brand experience with the new Don Julio mobile bar,” said Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL) Spirits Marketing Manager, Ann-Joy Muhoro.

Each bottle of Don Julio Tequila is made from handpicked, 100% pure Blue Weber Agave plants, which are allowed to grow seven to ten years before harvesting. The maturity of the Agave results in the mellow, fully-developed agave flavor Don Julio® Tequila is known for. It is this attention to quality, craftsmanship, and tradition that sets the Don Julio Tequila Brand apart from other tequilas and makes it the world’s finest luxury tequila.
