Don’t Miss Out on This Exclusive Speed Networking Event for Entrepreneurs

If you are in Nairobi and are a startup, an entrepreneur, a freelancer, a creative or a businessperson looking to connect and collaborate with others for customers or new projects, then this event is for you.
This Thursday, June 27, Phanice Shamalla will be hosting a speed networking event for entrepreneurs at the Obsidian in Muthaiga Square on Thika Road.
The face to face networking event will give entrepreneurs the opportunity to meet one on one and have the prospect to sell, buy, collaborate and network.
About the Speed Networking
The face to face matchmaking meetings will be 5 minutes where you will share your profile, business cards, portfolio, product samples and service offerings to fellow entrepreneurs with the aim of doing future business.
Once the bell rings, you will be expected to move to the next table.
After 3 hours you should have met over 50 people who will either be collaborators, clients or just business friends.
Join Phanice Shamalla for this power networking event that will allow you to meet many other attendees in a short time to find out who’s relevant for closer conversations.
Charges to be included in this networking event are 1000 shillings only per person.
To help guide conversation during the event, the following are a few examples of questions that you could ask:
- What field/industry do you work in?
- What are some pros and cons to working in that industry?
- How did you break into your line of work?
- Given my business interests, what advice might you provide to help me become successful?
How to register:
All you have to do to register is follow this link or call Phanice at 0705379913 for more information.
Mentors: If you are interested in participating as a mentor, please email phanice@outlook.com
What should I bring to the Speed Networking Event?
You may consider bringing a padfolio (or professional folder) to hold your business cards, note paper, writing material, and samples of your work.
I’ve made the perfect contact at the Speed Networking Event, so now what?
If you happen to meet someone that you’d like to stay connected with, be sure to ask for a business card.
Within 24 hours of the event, send a follow-up email, perhaps expressing your appreciation for their time and expertise, your interest in their field and your desire to stay connected. Note, however, that effective networking involves maintaining your professional connections—even months after the networking event.
