Vietnam Reports All Coronavirus Patients Healed, Hard Lessons To Pick

Vietnam has surprised the World with reports that all the coronavirus cases in the Country have been totally cured and patients discharged.

The news of Vietnam’s totally cured 16 patients comes at a time the World has been thrown into panic mode by the coronavirus which seems to be spreading like wildfire.

Vietnam reports that all of the 16 patients it had admitted and quarantined are now coronavirus free and have hence been discharged from the hospital and declared cured.

The Vietnam government has also noted that for the past 15 days since February 13th, there have been no new cases of the coronavirus infection though the village of Hanoi remains under the 20-day-lockdown.

Coronavirus has already led to over 3,000 deaths and spread to around 53 countries in the World and is reported to be weighing down on the aged and those with pre-existing medical conditions.

“If fighting COVID-19 has been a war, then we have won the first round though the entire war because the situation can be unpredictable,” the Vietnamese Ministry of Health quoted the Deputy Prime Minister Vuc Duc Dam.

What WHO says:

The World Health Organization (WHO) notes that Vietnam’s quick response in combating the Coronavirus has largely contributed to combating the deadly virus that has killed thousands in Asian countries.

The last person to have been discharged from hospital after being declared cured of the coronavirus was a 50-year-old man who had caught the virus from his 23-year-old, both natives of Son Loi district in Vietnam.

The government of Vietnam has been applauded for the swift response that Dr.Kidong Park who is the WHO representative in Vietnam termed ‘proactiveness and consistency throughout the response’.

Vietnam had earlier declared the Coronavirus a pandemic on the 1st of February 2020 after it reported six cases and placed 10,600 residents under 20 days total lockdown.

No Treatment For Coronavirus Yet

Coronavirus has no method of treatment yet and is dependent on one’s immunity system.

“There is no medication for this virus yet, we are relying on fundamental principles, ” Thanh Long, who is the deputy minister of health said in a previous press conference.

Doctors are treating symptoms of the coronavirus and boosting the diet plan to help the immune system of the patients fight the disease.
