The AfricaNenda Foundation has announced that this year’s State of Inclusive Instant Payment Systems (SIIPS) in Africa Report 2025 will be launched from 12–14 November 2025 in Ezulwini, Eswatini, marking a major milestone in Africa’s digital financial inclusion journey.

Building on the success of the 2023 and 2024 editions, the third SIIPS report promises to offer deeper insights into how Inclusive Instant Payment Systems (IIPS) are transforming financial ecosystems across the continent.

The event will be co-hosted by AfricaNenda, the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), and the World Bank, in partnership with the Central Bank of Eswatini and under the esteemed patronage of the Honorable Governor of the Central Bank of Eswatini.

Expected to draw more than 130 high-level delegates from government institutions, central banks, financial regulators, fintech innovators, and development partners, the three-day forum will feature a dynamic mix of policy dialogues, technical sessions, and strategic networking engagements.

According to the organizers, participants will explore how to expand access to instant payment systems that empower individuals and businesses, particularly those in underserved communities, to participate fully in the digital economy.

The SIIPS 2025 report will present the latest data, country case studies, and progress updates on the adoption and scaling of instant payment systems across Africa.

At the same time, the report will highlight success stories, identify remaining barriers, and outline a collaborative roadmap to accelerate inclusive digital finance on the continent.

AfricaNenda’s call to action is clear: be part of the movement shaping the future of payments in Africa. Whether you are a policymaker, innovator, financial leader, or advocate for inclusion, this event offers an unparalleled platform to exchange knowledge, forge partnerships, and contribute to building a more connected, inclusive, and sustainable financial landscape for all Africans.
