Safaricom Sells 13.64 Million Shares to Emerge as Top Mover of the Day

Safaricom was the top mover of the day after moving 13.64 million shares in volume during the session on Wednesday to emerge as the top mover of the day.

Co-operative Bank of Kenya and Equity Group sold 2.27 and 1.57 million shares respectively while Kenya Airways and KCB Group sold 396,000 and 293,900 shares respectively.

Jubilee Holdings was the top loser of the day with 9.52 percent at the price of 380.00 shillings per share followed by Kenya Airways with a loss of 7.14 percent at the price of 5.00 shillings per share.

Home Afrika, Express and TPS Eastern Africa (Serena) lost 6.78, 5.54 and 4.52 percent at the price of 0.55, 7.50 and 20.05 shillings per share respectively.

Flame Tree Group and Uchumi Supermarket were first and second gainers respectively with 9.73 and 9.26 at the price of 2.48 and 0.59 shillings per share.

Sasini Tea and Coffee, Standard Group and Stanlib Fahari Income- REIT gained 7.87, 5.79 and 5.56 percent at the price of 18.50, 26.50 and 9.50 shillings per share respectively.
