Kenyans Received A Raw Deal, See What Other Presidents Are Doing

BY Juma · April 8, 2020 07:04 am

Kenya is a messed-up country. It is a country run by cartels whose main agenda is to make money, even if it means over the massive graves of Kenyans.

During the deadly Coronavirus outbreak that continues to sweep across Kenya, Kenyans expected the government to come in and shield them, but no. Slaves have no say. The kings and queens must eat.

As Kenyans resort to prayers and “hoping” for the best, other governments in Africa are practically implementing what the common man wants during these challenging times.

As always, in Kenya, there are two major tribes; the poor and the rich. It is beyond unreasonable doubt that the poor will always be on their own.

Guinea

In Guinea, the government has announced free water and electricity for citizens for the next three months to shield them against the impact of Covid-19.

The government in Guinea has also announced free public transport for the next three months to enable Guineans to move without incurring any cost.

The government in Guinea has frozen rent for the next 8 months to December 2020. Prices of pharmaceutical and other necessities have been frozen indefinitely.

What has Kenya done? Threats. Threatening the poor to remain in their houses and die of hunger.

Ghana

In Ghana, the President announced that the government was paying water bills to all Ghanaians for the next three months.

Health officials in Ghana have been exempted from paying taxes, their salaries increased by 50 percent and an insurance fund set up for each one of them, paid by the government.

The government in Ghana is also assisting local companies to produce any material that is useful in the fight against Covid-19.

Kenya? What is our government doing? Speeches punctuated with technicalities that only leave us confused.

Rwanda and Uganda

In both Rwanda and Uganda, the government is giving food to households to help them stay at home and pass-through this pandemic.
