Entrepreneurship is a journey through hell on your way to heaven. It demands that the called live today in self-sacrifice and dedicated discipline so that they can live a life of bliss tomorrow.

Why am I rambling on about here, you may ask? Simple; an entrepreneur needs the knowledge to ensure that they manage their employees and clients in a manner that ensures growth of the business, retention of the employees, and multiplication of the clients. This is no mean feat and those entrepreneurs that have pulled it off, deserve the Noble Prize. This is a slippery slope that only knowledge can guide one through.

An entrepreneur needs to have intrinsic knowledge that;-

  1. Clients do not care about your challenges. All they care about is having you delivered and kept your promise as agreed on the contract.
  2. Employees are the assets that drive the business and they have very fragile egos that must be nurtured to grow loyalty and purpose.
  3. Clients have other options, besides your business. You are not a monopoly, and neither are you alone in your field hence delivery of your agreement is key to retaining them.
  4. Employees are looking for a place they can call home and grow and feel appreciated and valued. The absence of this will see you, hemorrhage employees.
  5. Any business dealing, any conflict or issue at the workplace MUST be handled without emotion to achieve the best possible solutions. Emotions create a toxic environment making it very difficult to reach solutions.

The above FIVE are the guiding principles in ensuring that as an entrepreneur, you manage your business better for growth.
